The renovated old homestead was named after 'Aunt' Marica, who spoiled children with homemade treats.
House Marica stands behind a mighty wall within the picturesque medieval village of Šmartno. Once a military fortress, today a romantic settlement where it feels like time has stood still.
On the ground floor is a restaurant, and up a stone staircase are spacious, stylistically renovated rooms, each characterized by authentic Mediterranean decor.

Rooms
Our rooms are decorated with a Mediterranean touch: on the first floor of the historic house, under wooden beams and with wooden furnishings, they are air-conditioned, equipped with satellite TV, minibar, and free WiFi, and include a hearty breakfast made from a traditional family recipe.
The room sizes vary — some are designed for two people with an extra bed option for one or two more guests, while others are larger and suitable for families or groups of up to six people — all providing a relaxing atmosphere that blends tradition with modern comfort.
